Sorry for my english.

I know :) but I figured that maybe some have been remade for export. Seems like someone would have done this work?

Oh and your english is fine! :)

The only idea I have is to translate it into English by myself. For example the film Copak je to za vojaka about Czechoslovakian paratroopers (one of the best films about CSLA) has Czech subtitles on DVD. Maybe I could export them somehow into text document with time stamps, translate into English and put together with the film in DIVx. I have no other idea. Does it make sense?

Nice opportunity to expand fame of Czechoslovakian paratroopers :)

Talk about! That would be an awesome to do if someone would do it *wink to Pavel :)*

I know allot of people here in the U.S. like myself enjoy foriegn films immensley. I do not know what is going on with the film industry today...:-/ I dont know how it is there but it seems films made here are rapidly losing good story lines. There is way too much action and allot less talk. I guess this is due to the fact that the majority of people (this generation especially :-/) these days have a low attention span and cannot follow a story without allot of visual effects.

I thought Dark Blue World was great while allot of freinds thought it was boring. I have several other films like Stalingrad, Come and see, The winter war, etc. All are great pictures with a good balance of action and story. I guess I am an old fart when it comes to films, I really like older black and white and early color movies and I enjoy a more involved well laid out plot. :)

I previewed allot of those CSLA era films and they looked really good. I for one would not have a problem paying for versions with Czech subtitles. And for sure they would have to be subtitles only. I think to remake them with the english language dubbed in would be a crime! :)

I have a question about what you said about "Copak je to za vojaka" Mr. Pavel.

Why would a Czech film have Czech subtitles?????
